Freej in Comic Con 2015

This weekend we had Comic Con in Dubai.
Comparing to the last year, this year was more spacious and again there were many people dressed up with one of their favourite characters.
This is one of characters from local cartoon called Freej  Freej means in Arabic "neighbourhood" The English tag line for the show is: "the fun Old Girls"

R for R2D2

Here we are the letter R in ABC Wednesday. My favourite letteR. : ))

R2-D2 is a major character in all Star Wars films. There are only 4 characters to appear in all six of original Star Wars films, others: Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader), Obi-Wan Kenobi and C-3PO.

You can read more information about R2 from Wookieepedia which is Star Wars Encyclopaedia.

Arabic star wars

Middle East Film and Comic-con was really interesting to visit. There were many icons (original ones) and different versions of those icons.
Here we can see a wall with superheroes with Arabic touch.
I really like Star Wars characters but my fav. one is: Sheikh Yoda.

Posted for Monday murals.

Middle East Film & Comic Con

The Middle East Film and Comic-Con is one of the region's most anticipated event. This was amazing how people dressed up while they were visiting.

I decided to join my friends' programme at the last minute to visit Comic-con. I was planning to take tickets at the entrance. When we reached to the venue, we just shocked by the crowed. It was nearly impossible to wait for the ticket. Thanks to my friends I entered with their pre-purchased tickets.

MEFCC is the largest popular culture festival in the Middle East, focused on film, TV comic, manga, animation, collectibles and pop art. this is the third season and I believe next year it's gonna be bigger.

I am planning to post from here for next couple of days. It was amazing how people were creative about costumes and the art.
