Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship 2014

Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship held between 17 Feb - 1 March 2014.
First tournament started as Dubai Men's Open at 1993. Men's and Women's tournament started after 2001.
I took this picture couple of years back at semifinals. At that time we were lucky to find tickets. Tickets are sold out at the same day even just couple of hours after they are available for sale.

Today, there will be Men semifinals and the final will be on Saturday.

Shisha

Nargile, Shisha, Hubble Bubble, or Water pipe

You can see these nearly every cafe, some restaurant or even in a bar. it is so popular in Middle East, actually origin is comes from India.
From India it passes to Persia. the name of Nargile comes from a type of tobacco. also Shisha comes from Farsi meaning glass, In Europe and US mainly its known as Hubble Bubble because of the sound comes while smoking.

Graffiti for ABC Wednesday

I took this picture at Safa Park. I just noticed this graffiti on Archive Cafe's wall. I think we can just call it "legal graffiti" because it is obvious that owners allowed or ordered this for them.

First they opened Miracle Garden last year, but I couldn't have time to visit before summer. This year when i have visitors from outside Dubai, I took it as a good chance to visit Miracle Garden this year.
They opened the Phase one with 45 million flowers last year. As you can expect it from Dubai, phase one got the Guinness world record for the "Largest Vertical Garden"

This year in 2014, phase 2 is ready to fully open within 20 days. It was amazing, I will post some more details from Miracle Gardens. I wish I could share the smell of the garden. even in Phase one smell was beautiful, on phase 2 there will be also one "Aromatic Garden" full of worlds most powerful aromatic flowers and even visitors can make their own tea from them.
